He is a singer of Fung Hang Record Ltd in Hong Kong and an artist under Fung Hang Entertainment(HK). He is also a host of the radio program on Metro radio and a wedding master in ceremonies. He was one of the Top 15 in TVB International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship . 

He has participated in various singing competitions and won many awards, establishing himself as a singer and emcee in the entertainment industry for 38 years.Hei is skilled in singing songs in singing songs in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, and is highly appreciated for his unique lyrical singing style and versatile performing ability. In 2018, Hei signed with Fung Hang Entertainment Ltd .He has won a total of 19 Music and Emcee awards. In recent years, he released his album name 《believe》 was recognized by music industry awards. His concerts were applauded by audiences and crowded. 

In 2023, his new song “神挑合侶”composed by Barry Chung Hing Hung and lyrics written by Poon Wai Yuen, produced by Fung Hang Record Ltd is very popular. Hei said that: 「The encouraging applause from the audience is the motivation for me to sing! I will continue to work hard to pass on the music. 亅
