Iulia Suciu is The Vice Rector of Music Academy“Gheorghe Dima”Clui-Napoca, Romania. In 1991 she graduated the Piano specialization of the same faculty with the highest grade and in 2001 has earned PhD in Music with the “Summa Cum Laude” grade.
She graduated Masterclasses in Weimar, Germany, with the pianist Bernard Ringeissen and she won many awards in the national and international piano competitions like “Gheorghe Dima” Cluj-Napoca, Romania or “Catanzaro” Italy and in the singing competitions “Magda Ianculescu” Bucuresti, Romania, “Mihail Jora” Bucuresti Romania and “G. Dima” Cluj-Napoca, Romania, she won the prize for “The best pianist accompanist”.
Iulia Suciu was the official accompanist pianist of all the editions International Singing Competition ,,Darclee,” Romania, between 1996- 2018, chaired by the famous soprano Mariana Nicolesco, and many others like ,,Maria Callas “, Athens, Greece, ,,Julian Gayarre” ,Pamplona ,Spain.
She was member in the jury of the International Singing Competition Hong Kong 2018 and 2019, and part of the international interuniversity project Academia de Muzica G.Dima Cluj – Napoca, when, together with Tiberius Simu held masterclasses in Zhanjiang, China 2018 , Jinan and Qingdao. Throughout her artistic career, she supported more than 400 concerts in collaborations with very important names of European music field: Ana Rusu, Marius Budoiu, Leontina Vaduva, Florin Estefan and as a professor she coached students who became famous worldwide, like: Stefan Pop the winner of “Operalia” 2010 Milan, Italy and “Madama Buterfly” Seoul 2010 South Korea, Anita Hartig, Bogdan Baciu, Tatiana Lisnic.
