Contemporary A Cappella Session | Touching the Your Soul with Pure Vocals!
Upholding the spirit of rigor, all-inclusiveness, and diversity in the arts, the 11th International Vocal Open Competition in 2024 has introduced Opera Session, Art Song Session, Folk Song Session, Pop Song Session (Mandarin Song Playing and Singing Class), Children’s Song Session and Contemporary A Cappella Session, Choral Session and Musical Theater Class.
With eight sessions and multiple classes, singers of all age groups can find their own spotlight in the stage within it. We welcome both professional vocal students and amateur enthusiasts to participate!
【Contemporary A Cappella Session】
Bringing contemporary a cappella music to the international stage, it encourages singers to sing with pure vocal performances, breaking the boundaries of traditional music.
This class aims to spark the musical creativity of singers, promote teamwork, and encourage collaborative music composition. It is a great opportunity to showcase teamwork and the vocal charm. We are looking forward to sharing the “magic” of a cappella with you on this stage.
Young Adult Class
Young Adult Class

Competitor group should be all born on or after 1998, any nationality is accepted.
Competitor group may be limited to 3-12 persons(Sound technicians are not count in).3-8 persons will be acceptable to perform on stage for each piece.
Performance duration: Performance should be completed in 12 minutes.
Enrollment Repertoire:
1.Unlimited pieces of entries for competition within the required performing time range.
2.Minimum a 3-parts and unaccompanied composition, only auxiliary (unpitched) percussion is accepted.
3.Loop Station and AMP are accepted to use during competition.
4. Enrollment repertoire: Chinese and foreign language songs respectively, any style is acceptable.
Youth Class

Competitor group should be all born on or after 2007, any nationality is accepted.
Competitor group may be limited to 3-12 persons(Sound technicians are not count in).3-8 persons will be acceptable to perform on stage for each piece.
Performance duration: Performance should be completed in 12 minutes.

1.At least 2 pieces of entries for competition, any language and style.
Minimum a 2-parts and unaccompanied composition, only auxiliary (unpitched) percussion is accepted.
3.Loop Station and AMP are accepted to use during competition.
